"This recipe was not great. The batter did not rise. It went over the sides of the muffin pan and into the bottom of my oven. What a mess. I did salvage the cake in the cups and made a trifle out of it. The flavor was good, but not a good cupcake recipe. The marshmallow frosting was horrible. It calls for a 1 tsp of salt. I thought that I should not put it in, but I decided to put in about 3/4 tsp. Trust me, the frosting not only tastes like salt, the texture of little salt granules is horrible. I even tried to heat the mixture hoping to dissolve the salt (this is regular table salt) and I also tried adding more marshmallow fluff to try and combat the salt flavor. Neither worked. It was very sweet with a salt aftertaste. I hope this recipe did not win on cupcake wars. I do not remember. I wasted my money and a lot of time trying to make this recipe work. It is the worst recipe I have ever made.
