Reviewed Old-Time Beef Stew

"I really enjoyed the flavors in this recipe. The two cups of water evaporated and I had to add beef broth. I also did not include carrots (neither me or my son care for carrots). Instead I included a small can of drained mushrooms. The I also had to substitute a flour slurry for the cornstarch slurry. We served this dish over rice. I will make it again!"

Reviewed Sea Bass with Clams in Lemony Escarole

"Used canadian bacon instead of pancetta, and a sugar substitute. It was VERY TASTY! Would be great with crusty bread and warrants another head of escarole. The bitterness of the escarole was offset by the saltiness of the the chicken broth and garlic. Great option as a meal for weight loss."

Reviewed Lemon Chicken Soup

"I used two cloves of roasted garlic and 1/4 cup of lemon juice. The soup tasted pretty good. It was good for a quick fix chicken soup for a cold and for my low carb diet. Next time I will shred the chicken instead of cut into chunks.
