Reviewed Sweet or Savory Pate a Choux
"Sorry, but these were a total bust. I followed the recipe exactly, but the dough was so runny that the puffs didn't hold their shape, and came out of the oven looking like flying saucers. They also taste too salty. I've made sweet pate-a-choux before from a different recipe (Fine Cooking), and they came out perfectly. Don't know what went wron"
Reviewed Southern Biscuits
"These biscuits were absolutely delicious. However, the dough was so soft and sticky that it required a lot more flour just to make it minimally workable. The result was an over-worked dough, 5 servings lost to what stuck to everything, and biscuits which didn't rise properly."
Reviewed Smoked Sausage and Black-Eyed Peas
"One of the easiest and tastiest things I've ever made! Most of the flavor will of course come from whatever sausage is used. I added some greens and made this a "Hoppin' John" for good luck in the New Year!""
Reviewed Gigantes
"Bobby, are you someone's "yia-yia?" Because this recipe tastes like it was made by a Greek grandmother -- and there is no compliment higher than that! It was so easy, fabulously delicious, comforting, easy, incredibly inexpensive, and even healthful. By far, the best gigantes recipe I've found thus far -- and I've tried quite a few!
