This recipe is the bomb!!!! If I was going to change anything (b/c the meatballs are almost spot on to how I make them), I would "sear" the meatballs off in a cast iron for the first 5-8 mins and then finish off in the oven and add the drippings to thr sauce. Overall this was a great recipe. I made a few changes that made the dish taste fresher. I opted to forgo the fire-roasted diced tomatoes and just used regular diced tomatoes.
