So simple to make and wonderfully delicious! The crust was so easy to make. Two substitutes: used apple schnapps liqueur & plum jam which I had on hand. My 90 year old mother swore this had to be her mothers recipe. It brought back some lovely memories for her. My grandmother was german/polish. "
