"What a great recipe. I did preheat my cast iron pan in the oven. Done in 8 minutes. Very flaky and tasty!! Definitely a do-over!! Even my husband who's not a huge fish lover loved it. If doing multiple pans of fish, dump out the excess juice in the pans between bakings.""

"Made them once without veal another with.... good both ways but YUM YUM what a difference following the recipe makes!! The sauce does need to be doubled. I've also made them and froze them before frying.... when thawed I stuck them right in the sauce and let them cook without frying. There was a bit more grease in the sauce but still delicious!""

"Seriously YUMMY!! Gravy has tons of flavor. Use a good sized pan, I had to transfer mine to a larger pan once I had to add the pork back to simmer. This gravy will be my new gravy for EVERYTHING needing brown gravy! Can't say it enough... YUM YUM YUM""
