Reviewed Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Oct 12, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

I also ran out of the little peanut butter cups so I broke off pieces of milk chocolate from a bar and stuck them in the cookies so the chocolate is sticking out of the cookie. Pretty and different, still yummy! Thank you Ree!

I couldn't find peanut butter dough pre-made, either, so I bought the cheap bagged mix and made it up according to package directions. (Oil and an egg.) I filled the mini tins 2/3rds full, baked for 10 minutes, put the mini peanut butter cups in and they were perfect!

Jeff, you ROCK!!! I look forward to your show every week. Your dishes are fabulous, but I just watch you to brighten my day. This bread was gobbled up at Thanksgiving, which was a blessing because my turkey was way too small for all those who stopped by without letting me know first (AAARGH). Thanks to the bread I got to keep some turkey leftovers"

We used to get the bones at my local grocery store all the time for $.59 a pound. I guess word got around how scrumptuous they are because now all of a sudden they're $2.99 a pound! (Same thing with pork belly, dang it!) I made this for all my (adult)kids and siblings at a family reunion last year and now they are oft requested. I use thinly slice"

Reviewed Short Rib Lasagna Rolls

Nov 21, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I was looking for a short rib recipe that used pinot noir because it was the only red wine I had in the house and I had the most fabulous ribs in the fridge. Sorry, Giada, I didn't make the whole lasagna recipe. I just made the ribs, served them with cheddar jalapeno grits and stir fried cabbage. My husband loved them so much I had to make them t...

Reviewed Vanilla Wafer Cake

Nov 5, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Wow... this cake is awesome. I thought it would be too sweet with 2 cups of sugar AND the vanilla wafers, but it isn't! The only thing I personally would change is the texture that the coconut brings to the cake. Maybe chop the coconut up or put it in a food processor? But that's my personal taste. The cake otherwise is dense and flavorful and it...

Reviewed Holla Beef Enchiladas

Apr 3, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

The sauce is simmering right now. It tastes AWESOME, and I certainly didn't mind the work. But I was surprised after I went to the store and bought the chilis how many there were (about 40 chilis all together) with only four cups of boiling water. It took quite a bit of effort to get the chilis through the strainer as it was so thick. I added water...

I make this all the time for family and friends - everyone loves it! I didn't have any saltines today but had a craving, so I made it with mini pretzels instead and sprinkled peanut butter chips on top of the chocolate. SOOO good!

Reviewed Lemon Pie Cookies

Jan 22, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I'm making these right now. The dough is REALLY tasty, and they are baking up well. But when I went to mix up the cream cheese mixture 4 ounces didn't seem enough for a whole cup of confectioner's sugar and a tablespoon of lemon zest. So I put in a whole (8 oz) block of cream cheese instead of half and it tastes AWESOME. Claire, I can't tell you how...

I made this for my family tonight, but the 2 hours, 10 minutes cooking time is SO not right. (I should have read the whole recipe before I started at 4:00... So I made the sauce, simmered it for two hours, and now it's past dinnertime, so I'm just going to ladle a bit of the sauce over macaroni tonight and make the lasagna tomorrow. The sauce all...
