Re: the recipe box, I had everything labeled and in easy to find categories. This new version is terrible..it takes me forever to find anything, and the search option doesn't work..nice recipe, but don't know if I will use it again if I have to search so hard for it..

I wanted a slightly smoky flavor, and since I wasn't able to grill my eggplant, I added a small amount of cumin and smoked paprika. I didn't have pine nuts or parsley handy, so I just pureed this until smooth..it was delicious! ( I also squeezed most of the juice out of the pulp to decrease any bitterness based on another recommendation). 4 stars...

I don't usually make meatballs because they never turn out well, and I also hate frying them in batches to brown them (I know, lazy, lazy). After seeing Anne's show, I decided last minute to make them..of course I didn't have all the ingredients. So, with just beef in hand, I added my own Italian sofrito I keep in the freezer, and a splash of gluten...

A simple recipe, and I like stronger flavors, so I bumped it up a little..for the sauce, I didn't have fresh ginger, so I used powdered. Fresh is always best, so I'll try that next time. I have good graters, so it's easy..I also added apricot jam and good white wine vinegar, so it's more like a gastrique. I have a suggestion for the person who's Dijon...

This is an excellent recipe, although I did change it up slightly based on what was in my kitchen, and how it is served at my favorite brunch place...I had the white sweet potatoes, and based on what one reviewer said, I cooked my potatoes and onions together first, got a nice browning on the potatoes, added thyme to the spices (in my opinion, the"

I've done this method for years with perfect results everytime..on reading the reviews, for those that struggled with overcooked or undercooked birds, to the first, buy an oven thermometer and make sure your oven is the actual temp. Making sure you have a clean oven will cut down on smoke during the 500 degrees phase (worth it, don't skip! And fina"

I love how creamy this version comes out. For those that call it bland, it is a BASIC recipe (does no one read??). Add whatever your creativity demands: broth, cheese, onions, garlic, corn kernals, etc..I love it chilled to firm, fry in bacon fat, smother in maple syrup and serve with eggs and the bacon..also the topping ideas are endless..bon app"

I didn't have red curry paste, so I used sweet red chili paste and a little less brown sugar. It came out too tangy and salty for me, so I added sesame oil, mirin, and dry sherry..omg..the flavors were outstanding! I wish there was a place to add notes to these recipes on the site..I will try it with the red curry paste too, as that sounds good.."

Good basic recipe, but it needed a little sumpin' sumpin'..so I added tomatillos (I roasted them with the anaheims, chopped them up and added with the peppers..) I also made a sofrito, meaning I added a little green pepper with the garlic and onion..I didn't do the wine because I had a 1 year old eating it, so used more broth..and blended extra beans...
