Reviewed roasted cauliflower melt

Feb 3, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I made this tonight for my partner who is a veggie fanatic. She also loves my grilled cheese sandwiches in general. This about put her right over the edge! I tweaked it a little for what we had here. We like our roasted veggies with a bit more kick, and we had a nice blend we picked up in Hawaii that has flake sea salt, smoked paprika, ancho chile...

These are fantastic!! We tweaked them a little though because we had butterscotch chips we wanted to use. So, instead of the chocolate chunks, we added an 11oz bag of butterscotch chips, and we switched out the walnuts for chopped pecans. Because of the flavor profile we created with this, we left out the cinnamon as well. Let me say, OH MY GOD...

Reviewed German Chocolate Cake with Coconut-Pecan Filling

Feb 4, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Hands down, the BEST German chocolate cake I've ever had! I actually skipped the ganache since I'm a purist and think this cake should ONLY have the pecan/coconut frosting. Plus, that frosting was DELICIOUS! Yes, it was a little runny, but I just let it run down the sides of the cake. Once it went into the freezer for the hour, it was fine. The "

I am officially a corn dog convert thanks to this recipe! We used Chicago's Vienna Beef hot dogs (awesome). The batter was easy to make. When fried up, the dogs were fluffy, light, and crispy with LOTS of flavor. None of the doughy flavorless garbage you get at carnivals. Directions were easy & perfect. The only change we made was to set our cook"

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Bobby! What a great recipe. I never really ate fish for most of my 40+ years. However, in my journey to lose weight and eat healthier, I've tried some and was surprised at how much I enjoy it. This recipe was fantastic. I mean, really, how do you go wrong with beer batter? However, it wasn't so heavy and thic"

Reviewed Chipotle and Rosemary Roasted Nuts

Dec 26, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Made these as appetizer for Christmas guests and they were a HUGE hit! I omitted the rosemary as my guests really enjoy full on spicy. So, I actually added a little extra chipotle powder. After I mixed it all on sheet tray according to recipe (minus rosemary), I lightly dusted the chipotle powder over the pan. I gave it one more stir and placed i...

To the person who thinks you should use anything but Vienna beef dogs, shame on you!! Chicago dogs ROCK. My only issue is that I'm a purist and I don't recall any Chicago dog with cucumber spears. It's a dill pickle spear, yellow mustard, green relish, fresh chopped white onions, tomato, two sport peppers and celery salt.
