My Activity

Reviewed Corn Pudding

"Made this dish for Thanksgiving and was very disappointed. It had a very grainy texture probably from the cornmeal and it did not set up in the center, it remained very runny so I would suggest cooking longer then what it calls for.

Reviewed Pizza Dough

"This is my go to reciepe when I want a good pizza at home. I also like to make pizza pockets with it. Dough is a cinch to make and comes out the same every time. I think it is pretty simple. I see where others are worried about the amount of salt but I think it adds nice flavor to the crust so try it first and back off later if you wish.

Reviewed Shrimp Bisque

"I have made this soup twice now, the first time was as a starter before Thanksgiving meal. This soup comes out tasting so good and does not require a lot of work. I would say to others that are not used to flamming alcohol to be careful. The first time I made this with a lower quality Brandy and the flame was not very "exciting" however when I made this last night I used a middle of the road Brandy and the flame was pretty high! Still a very good recipe!!!
I forgot to mention that I also added Old Bay seasoning at the end after the shrimp were added and I topped my bowl of soup with Old Bay too, just adds that extra seafood flare.

Reviewed Old School Lasagna with Bolognese Sauce

"Made this for dinner on a weeknight and it was simple and easy. I did not have fresh tomatoes however since we are in Novemeber so I improvised and used San Marzano canned tomatoes along with some good quality tomato paste. I didn't really have time to make the meat sauce so I just served the lasagna with some extra tomato sauce on the side and it was amazing. You should definately try this one!!
