Reviewed Carne Asada Tacos with Green Salsa

I used this recipe only for the carne asada. It's delcious IF you make some CHANGES. I only used 2.5lbs of meat and 1/2 of the dry rub, but the same amounts of everything else. Switch out veggie broth for beef broth. You have to season and brown the roast first! Then, cook up the onions and garlic in the dutch oven. Add the liquids next and let simmer...

This soup is great! This is the third time I've made it. I add a little less bacon. After I add the beans, I let this soup simmer for about a half hour, covered. About 10 minutes after the beans are added, I take a potato masher and coarsly mash up some of the beans in the pot. SO DELICOUS! It's a MUST-TRY! Ps. Dont forget the lime."

DEE-LISH-US!!! I added 1/2 of a sweet onion in with the mushrooms and made three times the sauce (with one stick of butter). I followed Paula Dean's recipe for garlic mashed potatoes to go with the chicken. My whole family couldn't get over how good this meal was and I will FOR SURE make this again.

Very Good! You can't go wrong with this recipe. The sour cream really adds a delicious touch! I used a garlic press instead of chopping it so there would be no big chunks. I also used and electric hand mixer to make them fluffy.

Reviewed Gina's Shrimp Scampi with Angel Hair Pasta

I made this for my family last night. I thought it was pretty delicous, but lacked some flavor. I would used 3/4 the pasta and double the red pepper flakes. To add some more flavor I followed Ina Garten's recipe for Roasted tomatoes and threw them in the pasta. Overall, my family liked this dish but I would make it a little differently next time.
