"One of the best new recipes I've tried. Love all the freshness and so easy. I also added another ear of corn and more zucchini and tomatoes.
But, I was dreaming about this casserole hours after I had it for dinner. I know it will taste even better today after setting for 24 hrs. Good job Marcela!"
"What a refreshing, bright taste treat. Healthy goodness. Made twice and a hit both times."
Reviewed Homemade Granola
"As with many recipes adjustments are according to your personal taste. I really liked the recipe but would lessen the oil next time and I substituted the cashews for whole toasted almonds (used the thin sliced almonds as called for); didn't have dried figs but added the other dried fruits and I really like it.
As others mentioned, it needs to be stirred occasionally and I liked how it crisped up. I cooked it about 50 minutes....my oven doesn't cook fast at the designated temp.
I will definitely make again. GREAT for holiday gift-giving."
Reviewed Slow-Cooker Brisket Sandwiches
"Extremely tender, pulls apart with fork. Didn't have stout so I used a small box of apple juice; also cooked for 14 hrs because brisket just needs it in slow cooker.
Yummy. will make again when brisket is on the menu!"
The movie Much Ado About Nothing exemplifies life as it should be...simple and free. I love to bring in herbs from my garden and smell their freshness before I add them to my evening dinner. Taking real delight in their earthy goodness.
I applaud Jamie Oliver and his work to get people back on track nutritionally.
Where to begin? Anything made with care and creativity is most likely on my fav list. Restaurants that use the local or farm to table concept gets my vote.
