My Activity

Reviewed Israeli Couscous with Apples, Cranberries and Herbs

"This salad is one of my favorites. However, if the vinaigrette is prepared according the directions, it is entirely too salty. One tablespoon kosher salt is overly excessive for the amount of vinaigrette the recipe makes. I would cut back the salt to one teaspoon. Additionally, adding a little lemon zest and juice gives the dressing a bit of tartness to balance out the sweetness of the maple syrup. "

Reviewed Baked Macaroni and Cheese

"I made this when my friend came over for dinner one evening. Her husband is deployed right now, and she was so excited to add this recipe to her repertoire for when he returns! It was scrumptuous....I can't wait to make it again.

Reviewed Pear, Apple and Cranberry Crisp

"Absolutely DELICIOUS!! I made it to take to a friend's house for Thanksgiving, and everyone raved! I was excited that it made enough for leftovers....I'm still snacking on it. I also think that it would make a delicious breakfast sweet treat with a nice frittata or omelet.
