"I'm going to give them five stars, but with a word of warning to recipe deviants like me! I am one to try and make a recipe a little lighter, and so I utilized a vegan alternative to butter and I baked/mashed/puréed my own sweet potatoes. I ended up with a DELICIOUS batter, and I rolled it into little balls (12 to a pan) to bake thinking they would spread as cookies tend to do. But not these cookies - I am guessing it was all in the changes I made, but when they came out of the oven, they had baked into little autumnal cake balls! Delicious autumnal cake balls, though... regardless, I recommend this recipe, for whatever your batter bakes into, it will be SCRUMPTIOUS!
