For YEARS I have been hunting for a recipe close to my Mama's. This is as close as it gets. My mother's was a bit crisp on the outside so I am guessing she would give hers a quick browning before she put it in the foil. I understand some people's hesitation in the use of foil/vinegar together but I have made this recipe and found neither an "alumi"

I HAVE to give you 5 stars, Ree...I did it from what you did on the show, didn't look the recipe up online, so not that big of a deal as far as measurements and amounts for us. BUT, I have to give you the 5 stars because my 14 year old son said, and I quote, "Mom. You could broker world peace with this bread." End quote."

I have to first address the negative comments regarding the lack of sage. There are SOME people (our family in particular and possibly Trisha's as well) that don't prefer sage in their dressing.
