It also needed more cinnamon. Some reviewers mentioned using sweetened, cinnamon applesauce. This might do the trick.

I do not agree with the other reviewers on this one. I chose this recipe because of the raving reviews, but was very disappointed. The apples were too tough and it lacked sweetness. I found it to be very blah. I will be looking for another recipe where the filling is cooked before putting it in the pie shell. I think this method is the way to go....

Reviewed Banana Bread with Pecans

Dec 8, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

This bread definitely has potential, but didn't turn out perfectly as written. It was way to dark...I would even say burnt, which detracted from the flavor. I will try again and reduce the temp. as suggested by other reviewers. If that could be fixed, I think it would be 4 or 5 stars.

I think this dish has potential, but with every bite, I felt it was missing something. I decided it had too much citrus, so added some sugar and sriracha sauce and it was much better. Not sure what I did wrong as everyone seemed to like it so much. So sad."

YUM! I had some bananas that needed to be used, so I went looking for a recipe. I was drawn to this one because of the granola topping. The coconut in the batter sealed the deal for me. These muffins are delicious! I only made a couple changes. First, I added 3/4 tsp cinnamon because I love that flavor in banana breads. I also exchanged 1/2 cup of...

Reviewed French Toast with Rum Bananas

YUM! I have always loved french toast, but have never been able to make some that I thought was really good at home. THIS IS IT! I added coconut extract because I absolutely LOVE coconut. It was so delicious and reminded me of french toast in Hawaii with coconut syrup. I will be making this for my family's Christmas breakfast.

These cookies have a great texture and I love how they keep thier shape. However, the flavor is lacking. I added 1tsp vanilla, as was suggested by other raters, and it did not do the trick. I will give these another try, but will add more flavor. I think I'll try adding some almond extract.

These cupcakes are amazing! I can't stop eating them! I followed the recipe exactly and got perfectly moist cupcakes. They are better the day after cooking, and the frosting is a perfect match. I will be making these again and again!
