These are the best rolls I've ever made. I made them for Thanksgiving for the first time and was astounded at how perfect they are-- rich, fluffy and sweet. Now, I dropped my stand mixer a year ago and so the only special equipment I used to make these was a big wooden spoon; if they turn out perfectly even without a mixer, you know they're incredible!...

I haven't actually baked them yet. I just made the dough but apparently used your 2006 recipe, which is also online and which came up first when I searched. It calls for half the salt and 3oz. grated parmesan. I tasted the dough and it seemed bland. Now, do I bake them and see what happens or throw it out and follow _this_ version? Please del"
