"I made this soup a few nights ago. We had never had avocado before but it worked great with this soup. My family raved about it and said it was a keeper, best used during cold winter months. Only thing I would do different is cut the chicken into chunks, which was not specified in the recipe. I also substitued a small can of green chiles for the jalepeno and it worked just fine."
