This was really good. I followed the instructions with these modifications:

- added 1 clove garlic, minced
- used an equal mix of minced fresh: basil, Italian parsley and chives for about 2tbsp total with about a half teaspoon of fresh rosemary
- fresh grated parmesan over the top when served, about 1tbsp per serving


Reviewed Chicken and Smoked Sausage Gumbo with White Rice

Followed this recipe exactly my first time making Gumbo, and I'll do it again. It's fantastic - and even better the second or third day.

Just DON'T skip the hot sauce when serving. It really adds to the flavor and experience. I'd recommend at least a tablespoon per bowl when you serve it. I used Franks Red Hot.


Reviewed Turkey and Quinoa Stuffed Peppers

Great base recipe! I made the following modifications:

- Used 88% lean ground beef (didn't have turkey)
- Used spinach (didn't have kale)
- I added 1 14 ounce can of tomato sauce and 1 14 ounce can of petite diced tomatoes. I may use tomato paste next time since this was pretty wet/juicy.
