This is a TASTY dish! I mixed it up a little and added, pasta, left out the pectin (gelatin), and added a little cornstarch to the sauce to thicken it and VOILA! It was absolutley fantastic! When I'm looking to bring the heat, this will definitely be one of my "go to" dishes.

This was AWESOME! Wow! I had never made a quiche in my life and this did not disappoint. I made one for myself and my Pastors. Rave reviews. My only deviation was to put mushroom and sausage in the filling. I think using egg yolks and whole eggs is genius.

This is probably in the top 3 best breakfast dishes I have ever made. So simply, versatile, and incredibly delicious. I made this for my girlfriend and brother and it got rave reviews.
OVER THE TOP IT: Add cooked crumbled bacon or sausage at the bottom of the nest and then top the egg with shredded cheddar just as it finishes cooking.

Reviewed mushroom pilaf

Mar 16, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

My only suggestion that is key is to wash/rinse the rice 3 times to get teh starch out of the rice before adding it to the pilaf mixture. This will prevent it from having a pastey taste or being too gluteness. The rice will come out and fluffy.

Super recipe! Just the thought of a crab and shrimp gratin makes me salivate. However, I modified to the following, based on previous comments that made sense and a similar recipe in one of Paul's books, "It Ain't All About the Cookin".
1. Top with Panko Bread Crumbs
2. Add 2-3 Cloves of Garlic, minced
3. Add some cheese...

This was AWESOME!! I do HIGHLY recommend using panko bread crumbs when breading the breast. I left out the kalamata olives and replaced with some nice sliced white mushrooms I had braising in the sauce. I also used a slice of cheddar colby cheese....SO GOOD with that hot red sauce over it!!!

By far...this is the BEST TURKEY I HAVE EVER MADE! My only minor suggestion is to place damp paper towels over the turkey when it is "drying out" in the frig from the brining process. Direct exposure actually begins to make certain areas on the skin of the bird to turn dark.
