Whoever wrote the "About This Recipe" was sooo wrong. First line, "Ok. I know it sounds gross." WRONG! Not only did this SOUND delicious, it WAS! We wish we could give it more than 5 stars. We love it and will be making it for EVER! Thanks :)"

Reviewed Candy Corn Popcorn Balls

Oct 15, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

This was my first try at popcorn balls. Probably not a good choice. Like the other reviewer, the sugar burned and it looked really, really bad. But not wanting to waste it I went on with the recipe. There was no way these were shaping into any kind of ball so I ended up putting them in an 8x8 dish like you would rice crispy treats. Since these were...

Definitely take the advice of the first reviewer and use cookies for the feet. I wanted to make this exactly as the recipe says and the cupcakes were a bad idea. One completely disappeared and I had to use a measuring cup to hold the cake up. And unless I did it wrong, I thought it was waaay to messy putting the cookie crumbs on and flipping it ov"

Reviewed Pina Colada

This was our first ever Pina Colada. We love coconut and pineapple so we thought we'd give it a try. We had them in glasses that held about 1&1/4 c. It barely made 3. Not strong, pineapplie, or coconutty so we dumped back into the blender and added more ice, rum, coconut cream and pineapple chunks. It was ok. Looking forward to trying one at P.F. "

Reviewed Banana-Coconut Marshmallow Meringue Pie

Apr 29, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was a good pie, although I had the same problem with the meringue. It just never made it to stiff peaks. I went ahead and used it on the pie anyway, a little flat but still tasty. I would also like a little more "coconuty" flavor so I'll probably add some shredded coconut to the filling next time. Lastly, cooling time was the same here, about"

Made this tonight. It was wonderful. Although I wasn't sure if I made it right as the last part of the directions said to add more water if the sauce gets to thick. My sauce stayed soupy the whole time, which was fine because we drizzled it over the meat in the tortilla. And the meat was a little to big for our taste in tacos, so next time I'll be"
