Reviewed Upside-Down Apple French Toast with Cranberries and Pecans
"This was one of the best (albeit not the healthiest) breakfast dishes I have ever had! I had to make-shift on the recipe, did not use cranberries, and used 1% instead of whole for the bread batter, but turned out wonderful. I flopped this recipe the first time, the apple cheeks didn't turn out well, and I messed up the carmel sauce. Second time around, I used thinner slices of apples, was more careful on the sauce, added a pinch of nutmeg to the batter, and we were just blown away. Definitely going to add this to our special occasion recipes!
