“I thought this recipe was very bland. There were not enough of any ingredients that would give it a good flavor. I should have spotted this beforehand. I am a decent cook, but this one fooled me. I should have read the reviews first.
IF I make it again, I will do a LOT more to Perk it up."”

“I made this last night for dinner. I made half of the recipe and used a 9x9 dish. We loved it! I did not have a red bell pepper. I think I was a bit heavy handed with the cayenne pepper, but we still enjoyed it. I baked mine for an hour, covering it only during the last 10 min. The green bell pepper was still a bit crunchy. Next time I may "”

“Oh my!! This chocolate cake is wonderful. I decided to make 2 nine inch round layers. I do not care for Nutella so I skipped it. I also decided to just frost the cake and in between the 2 layers with store bought choc. frosting. This is hands down the best "from scratch" chocolate cake I have ever had! I will be making it again. Thanks Ree"”

“I made this soup when Ree had it on her blog. It is absolutely wonderful!! I have to make it again now. Watching her make it on TV makes me want it again! I followed the directions from her Blog, I'm assuming they are the same as she did this morning on the Food Network.
Thanks Ree for a great soup recipe!"”

“I made these yesterday for dinner. My husband and I, as well as our 14 year old granson, loved them! I did add a bit of hot sauce to the meat mixture. I used one can of the Mexican tomato sauce in the meat mix because I used only one pound of ground chuck. I used Enchilada sauce for the top of the burritos. Inside the burritos along with the "”

“We loved this recipe!! As others have said, you must use more cornstarch. I think I used a TBSP. Also, whenever a recipe calls for "broth" of any flavor, (chicken, beef, etc.) I always use "stock". It has a LOT more flavor! Thanks Ree, it was delicious!"”

“Oh my!! I made this onion blue cheese sauce last night to have with rib steaks. It is soooo good. My husband said it was excellent too.
I did notice in the recipe, which was 1/2 the recipe that Ree made on TV, that it called for 3-4 TBS. of worchestire sauce. Even the full recipe she did on TV didn't have that much W. sauce in it. So...”

“My husband and I loved this recipe! I cut the amount of shrimp down to one pound. I used a half stick of butter. All of the rest of the ingredients I used the amount stated in the recipe. I used spagetti noodles. We both thought it was an excellent dish!! I will be making it again! Thanks Paula.""”

“I made this recipe last Thanksgiving. Sorry for the late review. I followed the directions Ina gave. It was a BIG hit!! I thought it was excellent. I'm planning on making it again this Thanksgiving to take to my siter-in-law's house. I'm wondering, as a time saver, if I could use frozen cauliflower (par cooked) as a time saver? Has anyone ...”

“OK, I made this. It was GREAT! I used only one teaspoon of salt in the sauce. I used one teaspoon of oregano in the sauce. I did end up using Chianti, one cup total. I did as another reviewer said and sauted onion, celery, and carrot, then went on with the recipe.
Pretty much followed everything else Ina said. At the very end, and...”

“I am making this tonight. I will cut down on the salt as others have said. Did anyone use Chianti as Ina suggested? Otherwise, what is a good choice for a wine? I was trying to see if I could find the video to replay Ina doing this recipe. I thought she used 2 pounds of ground sirloin, however the recipe says one pound.
I will check...”
