Doubled the recipe- but used 5 cups of milk and 1.5 cups of sugar, 5 tsp of baking powder. Also used 16 potato bread rolls, cause its what I had on-hand. Right when it came out of the oven, I sprinkled about a cup of dark chocolate chips on the top. They came out so delicious. Thanks for sharing!"

Added some italian herb seasoning to this, it turned out great. Thanks! Now I have an alternative to that expensive powdered mix.
**Update- instead of the italian herbs, I added lemon essential oli (8 drops) and Basil essential oil (1 drop). It gave it a nice refreshing flavor and I tossed it with my pasta salad. thanks again!"

I added one tsp (or two) of vanilla bean paste to the buttermilk before pouring it into the dry ingredients, instead of the currants. Then I made the glaze with powdered sugar, milk, butter and more vanilla bean paste. It was soooo yummy! My son said it tasted better than the Starbucks vanilla scones :). Thank you for giving me a simple base recipe...

I got raving reviews from my hubby and kids! I accidentally picked up pork rib tips, so there were little bones, which made it yummy! It was also partly frozen so I baked on 300 for the first two hours. I put the BBQ sauce on during the last 30 minutes, but it needed very little sauce. This is going to be my "new" way to make ribs! thanks for ...

Thanks for sharing this recipe. It was perfect dough for our calzones and stuffed breadsticks. I didn';t do the second rise-- my kids couldnt wait and it still turned out great. When they came out of the oven, we brushed melted butter and garlic powder over them. We cooked it in our convection oven at 350 for 20-25 minutes. YUMMY!"
