Reviewed veggie lasagna rollups

Jun 4, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I love Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, and her family. The Veggie Lasagna rollups were very bland, a lot of work in chopping (which I don't mind if the recipe is delicious) however, will not try this dish again. Definitely needs herbs or spices. Was so very disappointed.

This was very good. My husband and I really enjoyed it. I did add some spring onions and cilantro which I felt it needed just a little something. I really enjoy watching Ree and her family, she is so down to earth and I do hope she stays that way. Good job!"

Reviewed Key Lime Cake

I love to bake and try new recipes but this was not good at all. I went to the trouble of using key limes which was a time consuming job, however, if the recipe is good, it would have been worth it. The cake part was not tasty at all, a little tart but the flavor was absolutely not there. Will not bake again. Sorry!"

I added mushrooms to the onions and it was a nice compliment. I also think the rye bread was a must with this recipe. It was good, but also felt it needed a little more of something. Was a little bland."

Reviewed Pear and Almond Crostata

Sep 16, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was absolutely delicious, so easy to make. You can easily cut each crostata in half to serve. The almond paste is a must. I only had one can of almond paste and cut the recipe in half. Yes, it is good with the cherry vanilla ice cream but I think it is absolutely delicious the next day without any ice cream. This is definitely a keeper."
