Instead of butter, I cooked three strips of bacon & then sweated the onions & asparagus in the bacon grease. I also added mushrooms & the crumbled bacon to the quiche which was delicious. I think the dijon, cayenne & nutmeg were so good in this. Oh, I also used yellow cheddar because that's what I had. Very yummy!

It's all about the pink chili mayo! I make this recipe easy on myself. This is amazing but a lot of work! We make it often & double the recipe. We then separate it out into four 9x9 pans & freeze three of them. This gives us four meals for a family of three with left a over serving for my husband to take to work (the fourth serving in the pan).
