"Paula Deen is helping my marriage. This recipe is one of our favorites, but most importantly my husbands. It's hard for us to find dishes we both agree with but this is one of them. He asks for it on a regular bases and if you knew my husband....he is a picky eater. I follow the recipe exact for the most part, but I do add garlic and some creole seasoning and a bit more hot sauce. For the rice I cook it in chicken broth. Thanks again Paula!
