I made this for MY birthday meal. I was scared to death that I would ruin this expensive cut of meat. This recipe did take some time because I was very careful, but it was well worth the was amazing. Love the duxelles....may make it as a topping for bread or crackers. I did add garlic to the duxelles and will probably do more the next...

Have always been intimidated by quiches. Saw Trisha make it one Sat. morning and thought it looked easy enough. I made it, only used Italian sausage and didn't have any grape tomatos so I sliced regular tomato thinly and placed in the bottom of the pie crust.
