My Activity
Reviewed Gina's Hot and Spicy Tortilla Soup
"Easy and quick! I left out the cheese to make it lighter and used thanksgiving turkey leftovers instead of the chicken and I loved it! Will definitely make it again!""
Reviewed Breakfast Cookies
"LOVE them! I made a few substitutions mostly so my husband would eat them or because I didn't have all the ingredients. I did not use the butter or the granulated sugar--just the brown one (3tbsp). Instead of raisins I used a mix of craisins and dried apricots. Also I didn't have any bran cereal so I used a Weetabix wheat biscuit! I crumbled it in""
Reviewed Rice Pudding
"My husband and I really loved this. I have made it 3 times already and we are not big dessert people. I like to have this for breakfast/brunch with fresh berries on top. personally I don't feel the need for the condensed milk, but I don't eat sweet stuff a lot so maybe that's why I find this pudding sweet enough:)"
Reviewed Swiss Chard and Sweet Pea Manicotti (Winter
"So good and overall easy to make. Hubby loved it too!"
Reviewed Apple Muffins
"These were good. They didn't come out as fluffy as I wanted so they were a bit dry, I wonder if it's because of the wheat flour. Will make them again though!"
Reviewed Chili in a Biscuit Bowl
"This was so yummy. Love the stewed tomatoes, they definitely make a difference. Easy to make and it's a one-pot meal so less cleaning to do!
I am not a huge fan of biscuits and would probably use this more as a chili recipe, but my guests really liked the idea of the biscuit bowls."
Reviewed Peanut Butter Split Smoothie
"I love this smoothie, but it does taste a lot like bananas, which I don't mind. I use Trader Joe's natural peanut butter (the unsalted kind) and it turns out great. I have this for breakfast or for lunch, usually when I am going out to dinner and I don't want to have a heavy lunch! I feel this is nutritious and keeps me full fpr hours. "
Reviewed Easy Cheese Danish
"YUMMY! Made them for Mother day's brunch as well. I added blueberries to the cheese custard. I don't think it needs more sugar at all...the puff pastry I used was pretty buttery and flaky, I really don't see how this recipe can be tasteless! Absolutely delicious and so easy to make. Thanks Ina!"
