This recipe does work. It was my first time making peanut brittle, but I did manage to make "clear glass" rather than "shower door" as mentioned in previous reviews. I used a thermometer, and teflon coated sauce pan (the cheap kinds you get at wallyworld). I think the key is to wait till the temp gets to 300 F. It takes a lot of time and patience "
