I am a true fan of Paula Dean and love most of her recipes, but this recipes lacks flavor and the texture was not pleasing at all. This dish is more like a keesh in my opinion and not a casserole. If you like keesh dishes than this is for you. I would reccommend adding more seasoning to the dish."

I had everything except the tomatoes and turkey sausage. So I used a large jar of my favorite sauce and mild italian sausages. OMG! This dish was fantastic! Next time I will use the tomatoes, but it was amazing otherwise!
