Reviewed Roasted Kabocha Squash, Haricots Verts, Mushrooms and Pepitas

Dec 29, 2013 on

The combination of ingredients was very new and delicious for me. I roasted the squash on Christmas Eve, to save time, which I wouldn't do again. They were amazing right out of the oven, but dried out compared to the mushrooms and green beans Christmas Day. Overall, I loved this recipe.

Replied to Good Eats Roast Turkey

If I'm using a Conventional oven to roast I allow 20 m per pound - could run a little less at his suggested done temp of 161. My convection oven takes 2 1/2 hours for a 22 lb. turkey. Check with thermometer for sure. It would be disappointing to cut into a raw turkey! Allow the turkey to rest for 1/2 an hour or so for such a big bird.

I was hiding in the kitchen eating this! SO GOOD! I didn't have the broccoli slaw, but was searching for a recipe to go with extra cabbage from fish tacos and this was it. I'm definitely making this recipe again."

My kids love these meatballs and they are very picky eaters. I make dozens of them and keep them in the freezer for a quick dinner. Delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic and easy. I've tried other carbonara recipes and they didn't turn out as creamy and delicious as Anne's.

Reviewed Grilled Chicken with Dijon and Meyer Lemon

Love this recipe. I felt the flavors were all there - not too much lemon, not too much dijon... just right. I tried her suggestion of starting on the cooktop and finishing in the oven and the chicken was perfectly moist and flavorful. Anne's recipes are so dependable and delicious!
