I tripled the recipe, but instead of 3 cups mayo, I used 3/4 mayo and 1 cup non-fat Greek yogurt. There was MORE than enough dressing. Everyone at the party LOVED it and I even sent some home with a guest because her 4 year old daughter kept running back and forth to nibble on the salad. I am not sure who loved it more, the kids or the parents!"

Fantastic basic recipe! Like others, I also used slivered almonds and golden raisins. Per another reviewer's suggestion, I sauteed onion, garlic, celery and carrots in a large saucepan while I toasted the quinoa in a saute pan. :) I HIGHLY recommend toasting the quinoa for the full ten minutes until the grains are golden and toasty. Rating the sauce ONLY since we used it on grilled boneless pork chops. Fantastic and very easy to tweek. I did not have marjoram so used dried tarragon and fresh parsley (not saying this is the right substitution, but I wanted to have enough herbs to ratio of other ingreds). I went ahead and doubled the recipe since I had watched the show and dec"

Fantastic! I added a bit of silken tofu when blending to add some protein. I doubt it changed the superb flavor of this soup since I was tasting as I went along and the asparagus is a bold veggie. I served it to my boys, 7 & 9 the minute they walked in the door after school and they LOVED it! It was still very hot so I added a dash of half & hal"

My kids loved this! I decided to make this after finding Meyer lemons at a very reasonable price! I tweaked the recipe by adding zest to the dredging flour and then thinly sliced a lemon which I sauteed before adding the broth and lemon juice. I was nervous that it was going to be too sour for my kids so I added a squeeze of agave and a upped t...

If I could give more stars, I would. This was the star of the Thanksgiving show in my kitchen last year. Made it again for New Years for a different crowd and it rocked the house! The only topping I did not do was the banana. If you skip all the suggested toppings you HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE MISSING!!! The condiments bring it to a whole new l...

Delicious! I doubled the recipe since I had 5 eggplants and 2 tubs of tofu. The only thing I did not double was the coconut milk (for caloric reasons ONLY I used 1 can and the jalapeno (I used 3/4 since I wanted my kids to eat it and it still turned out nicely spicy - and I LOVE SUPER SPICY!. I also only used about 2/3 cup water. If you thought ...
