"I followed this recipe to a "T" but must have still done something wrong. I had enough batter for 2 pies so ended up throwing the second half away because the first half I made was just gross. During cooling after I took it out of the oven, it collapsed in the center - I couldn't serve it to my guests. Maybe one day I'll try it again but I won't be relying on this to serve to anyone else.

"These were good enough and a nice twist on the normal sugar cookie, but like other reviewers I had problems with the chocolate cookie melting and oozing out before the sugar cookies were finished. They ended up looking weird, but like I said it was at least a nice twist on the normal.

"Fabulous fruit cakes! I made these in mini-loaves and gave them as gifts wrapped in claer plastic wrap with pretty ribbon. Even the people who normally pass on the fruit cake were in love with these cakes! The recipe was easy to follow and I will definitely be making this again next Christmas!
