You're right--cookbook recipe's MESSED up, and altho flavors were yummy, technique was terrible. The cookbook tells you to end up with no-boil lasagna noodles as the last layer on top, to be coated with Pecorino-Romano cheese. I questioned that, but trusted the recipe, and sure enough, the top layer was a brittle as a cracker when it came out of...

I totally agree!!! All the red highlighted words also print out the sourcing for that highlight, which totally screws up the recipe when it prints. Please, Food Network, make your printing feature user friendly!!!! :-(

This calamari recipe was all wonderful until I put the fried calamari in the very low temp oven to keep warm.
