Reviewed French Onion Soup

"This is a great recipe! After reading previous reviews, I agree that 8 onions is A LOT so I used less. Glad I did. I also doubled up on the thyme to give it a more herby taste. This recipe could tend to be a bit bland for some tastes, including my own, so I added a package of dry au jus gravy mix. That really kicked up the flavor quotient! Also, substituted croutons for bread. This was a huge hit and so, so simple.
