Reviewed White Bean and Chicken Chili
"When i read all the rave reviews i decided to make this recipe. i really love giada's food and have been very successful with her recipes... however, i would NOT recommend this white bean chili for several reasons... the fennel taste is very strong and basically overpowers the dish. the ingredients are healthy (which attracted me and basically yummy), but it doesn't deliver. The texture is good, but i would substitute the swiss chard for spinach. do yourself a favor, skip this and go to another delish recipe of Giada's... there are plenty to choose from.
i've been cooking for over 25 years. i love clean, fresh, flavors and purchase most of what i can at the local farmers market. some of my favorite foodnetwork shows are: Barefoot contessa, Giada at home, French food at home (cooking channel) and Nigella lawsen.
