My Activity

Reviewed Homemade Granola

"This is a good basic granola. I added vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, switched some of the honey for real maple syrup, sprinkled in some coconut and added 1/3 c. brown sugar after reading other reviews that it wasn't sweet enough. I'm surprised Ina didn't "bump up the volume" on this one, I had to do it. Way off on time and temp. Bake at 300 and watch "

It wasn't spicy with the one large one I used. I couldn't taste the jalapeno at all so while eating I doused it with a generous shake of Tabasco. I pureed half with an emersion b""

Reviewed Thai-Style Pesto with Rice Pasta

"This was ok. It definitely needs to be with something else more yummy. I made it with bean thread noodles."

Reviewed Thai Green Chile Stir Fry on Bed of Shredded Lettuce

"Made this last night after seeing it on the show in the morning. It is a light, low-cal dish and was pretty tasty. I also made the pesto rice noodles with it. I added crushed cashews (I would have liked peanuts, but didn't have them.) At the table I added some garlic/chili paste. It was a decent Thai flavored dish. My family liked it. Give it a try."
