Reviewed Butternut Squash Soup

"This soup is very easy to make and is flavorful. I've made it two ways -- first roasting the squash and not roasting the squash. Either way it turns out great. Perfect on a rainy spring or fall day. Don't skip any ingredient -- it's even better with the freshly grated Parmesan! I've served it at two family gatherings -- very popular."

Reviewed Sour Cream Coffee Cake

"This is great. I substituted plain full-fat yogurt for the sour cream (because I didn't have sour cream at the time), and it worked great. I took the suggestion of several others and doubled the streusel and then put it in the pan first and in the middle of the cake -- also turned out very nicely. I also mistakenly used a spring form pan -- do NOT use this kind of pan. The cake spilled over during baking, but still turned out very tasty.
