Reviewed Apple Fritters with Steen's Cane Syrup

"1. Since you have to cool completely and then rest 15 minutes please don't start by heating your oil. 2. Add the water to the butter before you try to dissolve the sugar or you'll get candy. 3. Given how much more work this is than a basic "shred apple into donut or funnel cake batter" recipe I expected something a little more special. It's not. It's good, but it's not worth the extra work to get the same result.
