My Activity

Reviewed Hoisin Burger

"My husband made these tonight with ground turkey and swiss cheese. He mixed some hoisin into the meat in addition to brushing it with hoisin while cooking. We also added a little extra siracha to the mayo because we like our food pretty spicy. This was a delicious departure from the everyday burger and we didn't miss the beef a bit!"

Reviewed Where's Waldorf? Salad with My Friend Izzy's Epic Dressing

"This was delicious! We added some grilled chicken and made it into a meal. Only made 2 small substitutions: cardamom for 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp nutmeg, and cream for 2 tablespoons of greek yogurt. Really great healthy dinner.

Reviewed White Peach Sangria

"When I drink sangria, I almost always drink red, so this didn't really taste like a sangria to me. That being said, it was a delicious alcoholic punch for my sister's bridal shower. Like other reviewers, I swapped out peach puree for peach nectar and also added some Sprite at the end to add some fizz. ""

Reviewed Salmon Dill Eggs

"Made this recipe and written. Great alternative to traditional deviled eggs.""

Reviewed Country Ham and Apple Slaw Sandwich with Baby Swiss and Bourbon Mustard

"These sandwiches were delicious. Even my dad, whose not a fan of specialty sandwiches, said this was the best "froo froo sandwich" he'd ever tasted. I left out the raisins and made it with regular deli mustard, and they went very quickly at my sister's bridal shower. Definitely a great recipe.""

Reviewed Asparagus, Pecorino and Red Onion Salad

"Made this salad for my sister's bridal shower and it was a hit; everyone asked for the recipe. I was a little concerned that it the dressing was too strong, but after allowing it to sit for an hour, it was perfect. Might also be good with parmesan. ""

Reviewed Tortellini with Peas and Prosciutto

"My husband and I made this weeknight pasta recipe and both fell in love with just how quickly it came together. We also loved the flavor. We substituted meat-filled tortellini with cheese-filled and used pancetta instead of prosciutto. FANTASTIC! I've passed this recipe on to my sisters and friends, and everyone adores it. Thanks Food Network!"

Reviewed Chickpea and Artichoke Masala

"This dish was a huge success...easy, fast, delicious, healthy and pretty affordable (with the right spices on hand). My husband and I both love Indian flavors and this made for a great weeknight side dish. We swapped the yogurt for greek yogurt, which gave masala great tang. Next time we'll try it over rice or alongside some naan, but we really loved it on its own.
