Reviewed Guacamole Salad Recipe : Ina Garten : Food Network

Jul 20, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

This was good, but missing a little depth of flavor I felt. I had also printed out Rachael Ray's very similar recipe, so tried adding the cumin & corn from hers. That made it much better. Also, I only used half the jalapeno & felt is was as hot as my family could stand. Ina is a food goddess & hers are some of my favorite recipes!

Perfect! Used on restaurant quesadilla recipe I was trying to re-create following my son's rave reviews. My Chipotle chile powered added a lot of smoky earthiness. I had to add a bit more liquid to get it to blend better.

So delicious! The cinnamon crunch topping makes superior! Would be perfect for dessert. But as is very sweet, I fee syrup would make it unbearable. Next time I will cut the sugar in egg mixture by 1/3-1/2. Also, too much butter for the crumb topping--I kept having to add more dry ingredients to get it to crumble. Next time I will use about 1/3...

My 18y.o. son, spoiled by all the FoodNetwork dishes I try out, just texted me during the break of his Summer School class to say what a good sandwich this was. (Had it for lunch today.) This is a first! Had to get a review on ASAP!:-) I used only ground beef & just 1/5 other ingredients & made into 4 patties. Needs more than little sprinkling...

Reviewed Chicken Burgers with Garlic-Rosemary Mayonnaise

Oct 26, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

Very tasty, but the chicken burger itself is just so dry. The sauce just can't overcome it. I made this with low fat mayo, but pretty sure that is not the issue. Next time I would add low fat mayo to the meat as well, which I'm pretty sure is a technique I've seen for turkey burgers.

Best chicken recipe ever! Ridiculously fast to make! My husband said it was "company worthy" & my son said it was the best chicken dish he had ever eaten (impressive as we do some pretty fine dining out & at home lots of 5 star Food Network recipes). I made this for a youth group last nite and they like it, but no raves. My friend made a similar dish years ago, but was better, so I'll look for her recipe. I think "salad" is a stretch, even for a jello--- event the teens waited to eat it for desert; vacuum repairman saw me put it in fridge, and called it "cheesecake"--little more accurate may"

Aug 7, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I liked these, but family thought was too strongly flavored. My son said it was the bacon that made it too rich (and I had even used Turkey bacon). I measured the grated cheese, and would strongly recommend not using more, and maybe even less, as these cheeses pack a punch. Another idea would be to cut into small triangles and serve as more of "

So Yummy! My teen daughter asked to send it with her for lunch one day. I used light mayo and greek yoghurt in place of the sour cream, and agave nectar in place of sugar, to lower calories/fat, but couldn't tell the difference. Also, I used about 1/2 c. shredded cheddar in place of cubes and doubled the cherry tomatoes. I didn't have bacon "

Years ago I had the best authentic ceviche in Mexico--so refreshing. The flavor here was a little flat, missing something.
