"I gave this 4 stars because I think this recipe is good as a base to start my own sauce. This is reminiscent of my mother's sauce she used to take all day to cook but sweeter and quicker. I doctored the recipe, using two 28 oz. cans of crushed San Marzano tomatoes instead of the sauce & stewed in the recipe. It makes the sauce a bit sweeter and""
