My Activity

Reviewed Aunt Bettye's Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings

"I thought this was quick and easy but I added poultry seasoning and salt and pepper for flavor and I turned crock pot on high before cooking biscuits. Next time I will make Bisquick dumplings. I also used thighs because we like dark meat. I added corn starch to thicken."

Reviewed Egg-in-a-Hole

"I learned to make this in cooking class like in 1963... Yikes! Only my teacher called it "toad in a hole" I made it many times over the decades, for my son and now it's a request from my 7 year old cousin when she comes over! Big hit with kids."

Reviewed Flat Apple Pie with Perfect Pie Crust

"I usually make Mile High Apple Pie but I decided to try this and it was so yummy! It leaked all over though I would probably drain the liquid next time. I also added cinnamon and I like to brush the crust with egg and sprinkle sugar on it, extra yummy! Thanks Ree!"

Reviewed Red Velvet Sheet Cake with Classic Red Velvet Frosting

"I haven't made the cake yet but I made the frosting, it was very easy and very delicious, I will make it again and again. I hate the butter cream frosting with cups and cups of powdered sugar they are so sweet I gag. This frosting recipe is a winner!""
