"I wanted to try Orzo pasta, so I came to Food Network to help me out. This recipe got a lot of good comments, so I decided to give it a try. I am happy I did. This was a very good dish. I read most of the comments and noticed that alot of people tweaked the recipe. I decided to go along with the person who added mushroom and shrimp. It was a quick dish and with the addition of basil spice and hot pepper flakes was seasoned good. Give it a try and make it your own.

I truly enjoyed trying this recipe. It was very easy to do especially for a novice cook. The ingredients were not expensive and the cook time was good. I paired the dish with meatloaf and peas. Got and A+ on my meal report card! Thank you for giving us easy & tasty recipes to try.
