Very Tasty!!! I did not bother to cool and skim the fat, when it was done cooking I served!!! I served it over a creamy cauilflower/ parsnip mash and also added in some of the veggie mix on top. I also cooked it for abut 2 hours 45 min and it was perfect. I have made this before and will make again. I used the Bota Box Old Vine Zinfandel- s"

I agree with all of the other readers- great recipe! I did follow one suggestion and add white wine and marinate for a while (15 minutes- the flavors were incredible- can't wait to make again and I would even marinate longer- an hour or so!"

May 1, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was incredible- I had some Arrabiatta spices that I substituted for the crushed red pepper flakes and in trying to watch my carbs I used zucchini and summer squash 'noodles' which by the way my husband thought was real pasta?? I always play with my recipes but the cooking method here was right on for the fiddleheads- this will now be my go"

a 5 for the second try! Where it said add peppermint flavoring if you wanted...do not add peppermint schnaaps! it turned it right into a large lump of white chocolate-- it lost all the smoothness- there was no consistency and it wouldn't reheat to soften...had to chuck it! that being said- the second try was the best- came out perfect- I hope m...

I have now made this a few times- following the recipe- they really are easy to make and taste sooo much better than the store bought ones! Now I am playing with the recipe some- I changed the onions to shallots, pepper to peppadew peppers, no mushrooms but I mince the garlic into the onion/pepper mix- I also sauteed them up in garlic infused ol...

Awesome soup- also great as a base if you like to play with your recipes, I made the first batch following the recipe- it was great, then the second batch, when everything went into the pot, I added Italian seasonings and crushed red pepper for a kick!""

Made this for Christmas dinner for 6 people- it was perfect- the butcher had cut the meat from the bone and retied, so I was able to cut the string and put the paste inbetween the bones and meat and then retied the meat- I added extra garlic and did use fresh horseradish- in a word- yummmmmmm- enough for leftovers for the 2 of us tonight-I will definitely...

Did a trial run of this- turned out with great flavor- my sauce broke though (I tried to save some calories and used fat free 1/2 & 1/2) I also might try to wet the onions in buttermilk?? before flouring- just to add to the crisp factor or pan fry them???- flavors were all spot on though and I will make this again...next Thursday!

It was really good- I didn't give it 5 because I felt it was lacking the pow factor- Next time I will try and add some fresh garlic to it. I did also substitute spaghetti squash for rice (too many from the garden and I hate to waste them!) I also used fresh basil and tomatoes from my garden- it was really a nice enjoyable flavor- but not popping-kind...
