We had a ton of apples from apple picking so we first made Ina Garten's Homemade Applesauce and used it in this recipe. We did leave out the lemon juice in the pie recipe because the applesauce was lemony enough and it came out PERFECT!!

I used Pillsbury pie crust on bottom layer, pre-cooked. Browned onion and garlic added crumbled hot chicken sausage without casing to spinach mix. Everything else by the recipe...Perfect!!

This was a delicious, light and easy side dish. I didn't have red onion or fresh basil so I added chopped jalape�o and it was so yummy!! I also reduced the sugar to about 1 tablespoon and reduced the vinegar by about 1/2. This was the perfect amount of dressing for 4 ears of corn and 1 bunch of asparagus.

So easy and yummy! I used a can of diced tomatoes, omitted the mint and used dried basil and oregano. I also used a bit more red pepper flakes for some more heat...SUPER GOOD!!!

I omitted the cream completely and just substituted with chicken broth and it was delicious..and probably saved a few calories ;-) Absolutely will make again!!

Excellent sauce! I followed recipe exactly and it was just enough for about 1/2 lb of pasta. If you are making a whole pound I would double the sauce. I used thin sliced breasts cut into pieces and it was very tender. Next time I think I'll try keeping the breasts whole, bread and fry them, then pour the sauce over chicken and pasta. Really good "

Awesome marinade! Would also go great on chicken or steak. I doubled all ingredients and it came out perfect for two thick tuna steaks. A little spicy so if you don't like too much heat keep the jalapeno to 1/2. I served it over just a bed of arugula and had enough to pour over as dressing. It was so quick and easy...keeper!"

So, I admit I cheated...I bought Rozzano brand Butternut Squash ravioli. I chopped and browned some Pancetta and steamed some fresh asparagus. Once the butter was browned I added asparagus for just a minute to coat then poured on top of ravioli then sprinkled on Pancetta (or plain bacon works too) and Parmesan...OMG absolutely delicious!!!! "

Really good!! I too only added a cup of Pinot and really let it reduce down. I didn't feel the bacon was necessary and I was correct it was awesome without it. I did use the demi glace and I think it really added another level of flavor and helped thicken the sauce a bit. Definitely saving to the recipe box!!"
