Added oregano instead of cumin and will use leftovers for smothered burritos, fried eggs on corn tortillas and freeze the rest for a cold winter night coming soon!

Rather than adding cumin, I added oregano - more like traditional pork green chili, and barker green chiles for extra bite! Fantastic! Will use the leftovers for smothered burritos, huevos rancheros and freeze some for a cold winter night coming soon!

Fantastic! Added 1/4 cup flour to batter for high altitude (6500 feet) and made a sheet cake, not a layer cake. Everyone loved it and it is definitely the type of cake that could get me up in the middle of the night for a snack!"

Reviewed Red Chile-Citrus Marinated Chicken Breasts with Grilled Tortillas and Avocado-Tomatillo Salsa

May 2, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Easy, light, fresh and delicious! The avocado relish would be great on grilled fish or pork too. Chicken had just the right flavor and leftovers will be great sliced on salads. It's a keeper! Didn't roast tomatillos - no instructions about this, and they were good in the relish. "

The slaw is delicious, but what is the mayonnaise soy / sugar mixture for? Once I tossed the slaw with the other wet ingredients it became clear that the mayonnaise must be for the chicken wings, because the slaw was complete and very good without it. Would have been 4 star without the wasted mayonnaise, soy and sugar.
