My entire family of 6 loved this recipe. It was extremely easy to make. We talked about using honey instead of maple syrup next time. It would give it the same sweetness it needs, if you didnt have maple syrup. We had rice with it and all the kids used the extra sauce on their rice. "

Overall we liked the cookie, but we were disappointed that you could only taste the cake mix we used. You couldnt taste the cream cheese or butter. Maybe next time we will try another cake mix. We made her Gooey Butter Cake and gave it a 5 star. The cookie definately holds true to chocolate "gooey". They definately had a wonderful gooeyness!
