"I have halved this recipe and made it in a mixing bowl, and it still turned out wonderful! Do not use pound cake or angel cake! Use any bread you have. Otherwise it will be too sweet. This is a no-fail recipe! It came out of any bowl I've used easily. Top it off with whipped cream and you have a winner!!"

"First time brining a turkey. I read all the glowing reviews, and felt pretty comfortable trying this on our big group this Thanksgiving. I was only concerned about weather or not it would be seasoned correctly, and if it would make the stuffing too salty (yes, Alton, I stuff my turkey!) Well, the bird was wonderfully moist. It tasted outstanding! "

"Very good soup. I have been looking for a while for the best squash soup, and this is it! The curry adds just the right spice. It's also pretty healthy. No heavy cream, yet it's creamy. The only fat is the olive oil and the fat in the chicken broth. The condiments add a festive touch.""
